Our research activities span a wide range of fields, with particular strengths in Global Economic Modelling, Sustainable Urban Futures, Artificial Intelligence Ethics, and International Security & Diplomacy. In our Research Centres and Institutes, faculty and students work side-by-side on cutting-edge projects. The Centre for Global Governance and Policy, for example, conducts influential research on international relations and policy, providing critical analysis for governments and non-governmental organisations. The Institute for Advanced Data & AI explores the ethical implications and applications of artificial intelligence, developing innovative solutions for societal benefit.
We are committed to providing our students with a hands-on research experience from the earliest stages of their academic journey. High school students can participate in our Summer Research Programme, working with faculty mentors on a project of their choice.
